When folks say that \"AF works\" a lens on the A7rII, I assume this means that it can acquire accurate focus. What does it mean concerning focus speed, both as an absolute thing and by comparison to using lenses on cameras from their manufacturer? And are there variables as to lighting/contrast?
I know that one thing that many were hoping for (and which some online sources seemed to suggest) was/is being able to use, for example, Canon L lenses and get AF that is accurate, fast (as fast as on Canon cameras), and works in the usual range of lighting conditions.
With that in mind, when I read that \"AF works\" with one of these lenses, should I assume that it works as well on the Sony as it does on a comparable Canon camera?
Thanks,
Dan
