First of all thank you everyone!

I appreciate all the compliments and feedback. Sorry for the delayed responses and not being able to get to them all right now. I have literally driven about 4000 miles this week (1050 just today!) and try not to be on my laptop when driving!

Very nice mark.

One thing that bothers be is the darkness of the reflected moon. From experience, I know it should be brighter. It isn\'t natural, it\'s just flat.

Thank you fro the compliment and feedback.

Mark - this is very nice. Great colors and composition. Although for my taste I would shoot higher and skip the reflected moon because the bottom is a bit dark without features.

Great job. Scott

Thank you Scott. Appreciate the feedback.

Really nice glow going on here and I like how the moon in the left helps visually balance the more intense colors on the right. When did you take this? I\'m finally going to be back in the area later this summer and hope there\'s still some water around.

I think this was last Aug. But I led tours there in Aug, Sept and Oct last year, so right now I can not remember which time it was. I do remember I was right next to a client. I actually set them up with the shot and then shot right next to them.

This is a fantastic photo. I love all the colors and the reflection. Great work.

Thank you. I too like the reflection. You don\'t get water here very often. Always a plus in the desert.

Wonderful image, Mark. Great stuff. We can only hope the monsoon kicks into gear soon. It\'s been a little off in AZ this year but a little better here in NM.

I have been told they have been better than usual. Is that not true? I\'ll be down very soon! See you down there!

Thank you Harsha. Glad you are around to see it.

I think it is a very nice looking image. It\'s interesting that (to me at least) the clouds that are under the moon look sharper in the reflection than in the actual sky.

That is weird. Must be the auto masking in the Camera Raw sharpening filter I used for the web sharpening.

Love the comp!

That dreamy look is the orton effect? If yes can you give some details of what were the settings used? I see that dreamy look from time to time esp in the sky but I don\'t know how to add it to my pics If you decide not to answer my question that is ok too.

Thank you! Do you know about my Post Processing Video Tutorials? I have one called MASTERING ORTON / DREAMY and HIGHLIGHT GLOW EFFECTS. In it I give away all the effects one would ever want to know about highlight glow. Hardly an image I have does not at least see some micro detail diffusing locally or globally. As far as workflow, it is quite complicated to try to explain. I might put an over all workflow video out this winter. Check my website out if you are interested...
