Here is a little different type of test shot using the 5DS. Female Ruby-throated Hummingbird.
This is a crop of about 33% of the full frame. Three Canon 600 EX-RT flashes were used at 1/16 power. Flashes were wirelessly triggered from the camera which was on a tripod. 500mm F4 II and 1.4x III used. Original 8 bit file was 144 MB in Photoshop. Raw conversion done in Capture One. Cropped file was 49 MB before it was down sized for posting here. Click on the photo so it fits on your screen if it is larger than your screen.
Settings were made to get appropriately exposed photo while trying to freeze wing movement using flashes set in manual mode.
