The camera does feel / seem responsive, but I would not be the best judge because I don\'t have a 5D3 or 1D-X experience to compare with.
I like the sound of the shutter. Much gentler than 5D2. It sounds almost like a rangefinder camera.

Regarding the 100 % instant focus review, check page 331 of the manual. Here you can set what happens, when you press the magnification button. I can\'t life without this feature.
