I think if we saw the absolute number for the DR of the OLED EVF\'s, it must be crazy high given that OLED\'s, when turned off for black, are pure black. The problem is likely two-fold - the aspect of the human eye you mention and that ultimately, the brightness of an EVF can\'t begin to match the sun.
