Thank you very much, Michael! Yup, the sculpted Navajo Sandstone and its cross bedding inside the Canyon is very colorful and spectacular alright, especially if it is in a certain way. The DR is so wide that you couldn\'t get away without doing HDR method to get well balanced captures using Sony Exmor sensor or not.
With that said, here are the last two images I will be posting from this location. I really would like to go back before too long to do certain aspects of photography that I wasn\'t able to do on the previous trip. The last one is my favorite from about 16 keepers and that one was taken pretty much straight up vertically.
