Yes, I\'ve seen sharper...but it surely gets me plenty of detail for almost any print. I appreciate that you tried the lens and it wasn\'t your cup of tea, but mines staying in my bag right along side my 85g, and the 58 gets used more often.
That\'s plenty sharp and what I would have expected from the 58 lens. The earlier originals of this 300% are terrific.
Dumbing down sharpness and contrast in PP as some have excused in Elijah\'s bridal photos doesn\'t make sense to me. However I suppose, if the subjects are less than attractive........
