This was taken on Mother\'s Day or rather Mother Nature\'s Day as it was to me. I spent the day exploring and shooting with plans to shoot a particular spot again for sunset. When I arrived a few hours before sunset there was a family setting up for fishing/dinner/fire etc. so I scrapped that idea. Instead I decided to drive the extra hour to Victoria Beach and try another sunset there. What a great choice. I\'ve always said that every time I go to this place it is always different from the any other time. Even if I go consecutive days in a row. That is how fast things change here. In fact, these sand ripples were under water by the time I left. It changed dramatically, from a photography POV, in just a couple of hours. Next weekend the gates close to the public and I may not be back til fall when they open again. Once closed I have to park far away from the beach. Plus summer months there are many people there and well I\'d rather be alone. Like I was on this visit. WHOLE beach to myself and the soothing sounds of NOTHING!
