I just got my Sgma Contemporary and my initial tests are very positive with my 7d2. I haven\'t had it long enough to say a lot but my Tamron rarely gave me any useable pictures. It could have been user problems or my camera but so far I am quite pleased with the sharpness I see s=wth the Sigma. they give you a nice case too....tamron does not.
