Monito - Don\'t you think that \"R\" sample (Yokohama Sky) looks pretty good or are you disappointed?
I think it looks quite good. Stresses the limits of the 16-35 L II which
from most reports is a very fine lens.
However, I am seeing loss of detail in the rigging of the ship where it just
gets muddled, and I think it might be aliasing, but could be jpeg processing.
I will await some Raws and some independent field reviews.
I\'m considering the 5DS for landscapes, architecture, environmental portraiture,
macro, some bit of wildlife, and a little studio work. I\'m not considering the
5DR.
Hadn\'t really considered Macro into the equation. Hmmmm... I like shooting the occasional macro and product shots. You would think the \"R\" would be better for macro? I honestly don\'t know. Either way, I think some of us, myself included, are splitting hairs and both are going to be great camera\'s for the intended purposes. I guess better safe than sorry especially depending on the type of printing one does too.
