That appears to be exactly what they did, unfortunately. Canon claims ISO performance similar to 7DII (which is weird since it has a way lower ISO ceiling), and they confirmed DR is the same as the 5DM3, which is worse than the 6D.
It\'s looking more and more like 50MP is all it has going for it over a 5DM3, or a D800/810 for that matter.
