Yep - no worries about winter conditions.... I have used mine down to -37C with no issues aside from crummy battery life (which is expected). If possible, leave the lens cap on for about 10mins once you step outside. Then your lens should be fairly cool which should help to avoid having the snow stick to the front. And also brush off any snow from the camera before you go back inside.
