Stefan, I like that from top down shot, very nice perspective.
A few more M type of shots. I like modern, traditional elements blend together with human. I was stand inside of San Jose Museum and look out wait for the correct moment to trip the shutter. and setting the camera to maximize the DOF and hopefully capture the motion blur of human elements.
This is just showing Leica S can be used as traditional 35mm type of camera. A clever approach for designing this traditional studio/tripod use only territory. A big selling point IMO if not consider haft price.
If there is any reason choose it over D810, to me, first of all it is the lens rendering, color, and then huge view finder for manual focus at close up range portraits with beautiful CCD color. Of course AF can be very handy. No LV is a big limitation to prevent this compete with D810 in landscape use. not to mention WA lens selection.
S 35 Summarit ASPH is a great lens. (will cover 70 Summarit later ) Not only for detail cross frame (note: can be used WO for Landscape) but also for best rendering I even see from 28mm FF focal. Very low distortion, low vignette, and Bokeh highlight is always smooth and rounded without physical vignette clipping. I use it WO a lot for environment portrait, will post some samples later.
