The first landed on our car bonnet/hood as we drove along a minor road in open country. I was able to stop, assemble camera, lens and TTL flash and take several shots, some at f16. I have left the reflection in to add interest.
The others are examples of flash and sunlight (I don\'t need to tell you folks which is which!) of the same insect. These were on an unkempt lawn (grass ca 10cm tall) at a hotel. I was prone on the ground.
Experience has taught me not to attempt to name them!
EM-1, Kiron 105mm macro, flash 1/250 ISO 200, daylight 1/80 ISO 640. All hand-held. second and third images considerably cropped laterally.
