I picked up my wife\'s D600 today for the first time since I got the M9 ... I forgot how easy AF makes things!
I have not been using AF for very long now as on canon also I had all but couple zeiss lens. But on canon I was spoilt by the focus confirm. I feel manual focus as the way to take pictures now but this focus by distance is still something I have to actively think to learn. But it is so much more fun to shoot manual focus as a non professional to feel like you actively worked to get a good shot.
