Well, I will say my logic does hold water because consumers are willing to pay for newer products every year or two to replace their still very new and working units, but sure does not compute when you compare it to sawdust filled burgers.
One is asking for newer products, while the other is being sold a substituted product.
Look at iPhones and cameras that they put themselves on pre-order list. But would anyone put themselves on sawdust filled burgers pre-order list?
To get a better picture, all you need to do is just look at how many here on this forum have replaced their 2 years old still very new and usable D800/E for a D810.
