Thanks to all you guys for the likes.

Edward, I think what let me shoot that steady shot was
1. Evening time shot so no more coffee in blood
2. Evening time shot but no beer last night
3. Few years of work experience with knife and other sharps at work in more critical situations

Now here is what actually happened
1. He was absolutely engrossed and thus very still
2. I braced myself to table to make myself steady
3. I shot @1/30 - got it, then shot at 1/15 - got that too reasonably well so felt inspired to shoot even slower and luckily got it better than 1/15.

Now, I must admit that even though sony a7 is mirrorless too, I have mostly failed to get a slow shutter spped shot without blur. With leica I feel I can get it at a fairly good number of occasions if I pay attention to it.
