This is awful, I would say this is a bigger issue than dust/oil.


If you shoot a ton of backlit then you\'ll need to be aware of what causes it and how to combat it. If you have dust/oil you are F\'d if you shoot anything with a smaller aperture than F9. Many folks will shoot thousands, if not 10\'s of thousands, with the D750 and never see an issue (I\'d argue most would never see an issue).

Considering the D610, D750, D810, Canon 6D, 5DM2... all exhibit this phenomenon I\'m hesitant to get very worked up about it.
