Oh, Michiel, how i love your Rouen (sic ) cathedral shots. Great photographs and great subject. I just love these \"Gothic Giants\".
Although the Rouen cathedral has romanic roots as our three Kaiser Dom\'s (Speyer, Worms, Mainz) at the lower Rhein valley, it is gothic all the way.
The Dom in Mainz is still a task i want to do as is of course, Köln.
I like to add a very little gothic element (thats what our cathedrals here have: Gothic elements i an romanic surrounding) with the new 16-35 :
BTW: I have read in a test of the FE 16-35, @ 3D-kraft.com, that corner performance at 16 mm is best at F4 and decreases as you stop down. Looking at my pics i cannot confirm these findings. Although the corners/ borders are good at F4 they don\'t decrease stopping down.
Marek: I was starring at the WATE since the 7R came out. Although it is a great lens and i like Leica very much, i think it was no fault to resist.
