@ lonleyppl, I have the same problem, summilux is just very expensive but I lust for it. I have canon 50 ZE f/1.4 and MP. The MP at f2 is just amazingly sharp. Sharper than ZE 1.4 and also Zuiko 50 f/1.2. I have been looking at rokkor 58, canon FD 50L and even 55 1.2 ASPH. All these are together less then the summilux. But the lust....
@Chris_88, thanks for your input on lux 50. It may seem silly but I take pictures of kids mostly and after day is over, in side I shoot any lens wide open.I miss the focus on many but still its rewarding. From what I have read the lux is simply very good at 1.4. I never did before, but I have , for reason or not, feels something is special in M lens in the picture. Damn, my wife is correct very often when she says \"is this from leica?\".
I feel the zuiko is good but it does not wow me often. Unfortunately Leica 35 and 75 often do and hence the lust just keep getting stronger....and on weekend it gets worse.
