I understand the advantages and I would love for Canon to give us the DR boost at some point. I just don\'t run into those situations very often. When I boost shadows I\'m typically only doing 1 or 2 stops and the 1DX handles that just fine. It also handles blown highlights very well even if I expose to the right.
I don\'t constantly feel the need to say that Canon is doomed because of it.
