Recently acquired a 35 cron 8 element and I\'m enjoying the change from the summilux. It has a bit more pop reminisce of the Zeiss attribute that I\'m fond of. The bokeh is very smooth but can be provoked in certain conditions (unlike the lux which is almost immune to nervous bokeh). It feels like a mix of a rigid cron + noctilux type of bokeh. Its sharp wide open but renders quite gentle (a lot more glow than the lux) however it has more pop than the summilux pre FLE even though its not as sharp. I haven\'t tested it for portraits but I would imagine it\'ll extremely good with a lot more character than the lux. Here\'s an example of the different rendering between the two lens, not a the best comparison but you get the idea
