Regardless how well liked and how well performed the A7 series cameras are, as shown in this thread, they are not designed to be the camera of choice for sport. In addition, the selection of more suitable native lenses is simply currently not there. This is the current state of affairs with mirrorless camera bodies in general, BTW. Things may change in the future, however.
