Amazing Birds of the Peruvian Cloud Forest | |
Our July trip to Peru started in Cusco with a day of birding in the Andes en route to Manu National Park (I posted some of these mountain birds a couple weeks ago).
We spent the next couple days in the Manu Cloud Forest, which offered an amazing variety of subjects, many of which are featured here. As always, light is a challenge in the cloud forest, but the activity was tremendous. I highly recommend a visit.
These are all shot with the 1DX and 500 II, mostly handheld, sometimes with monopod.
Thanks for stopping by!
