The last three shots show whitebark pines, cornerstone of protein and shelter above 8500ft in central Idaho. We have lost 90% in the last decade, as the old hard \"20 below for two weeks\" winters warm and many more Mountain Pine beetles survive and reach up to the whitebarks.
