I was talking photography with a contractor I work with and he was telling me how he was once very into film photography. He even had a darkroom in his house. He was telling me about all his film lenses he had (a lot of high-end AIS) and that he quit once everything went digital. I told him that his lenses are making a comeback and told him about lightroom and mirrorless cameras. Then.... I pulled out the A7 out of my backpack with the Canon FL 58/1.2 attached, and let him hold it as I powered it up. Took some test shots showing him focus peaking and magnification. He was amazed. Pulled him aside and started combing through these threads and he was blown away. I had my first convert. Hallelujah!
