There are some pretty nice shots on this thread. I thought I\'d add one of mine from this morning. I just picked up a a7r and a Metabones IV adapter for my Canon lenses. Pretty much what I expected. Auto focus is pretty much useless on moving objects, but works ok on stationary ones. Manual focus is just fine with me. Bought the battery grip, 4 batteries, a Watson duel battery charger, RRS plate for the bottom of the battery charger, and a Hejnar L bracket with a spacer that Fred had mentioned to put on the lens adapter. All fit nicely together on a tripod.
Hummingbird from this morning in the backyard. 1/250s, f/4, ISO auto (160) with a Canon 600mm f/4 lens. Canon 580 ex ii mounted on a flash bracket with a Better Beamer attached. No noise reduction, highlights recaptured in Lightroom, and a little clean-up and sharpening in PS. Cropped at >100%.
