Well,
Got up bright and early, drove to Dead Horse Point at 4:00 am to try and catch a great sunrise. Unfortunately (or fortunately), there were suddenly high winds and quite a bit of lightning in the dark. As sunrise came and went, it was just gray everywhere. But patience is a virtue they say, and eventually I got my reward with a brief but intense lighting of the Colorado River Bend. There was also a quick rainbow that I missed, sorry...
