I know, I know - every new shoot becomes your favorite shoot, but seriously, this family session really just came together for me and I LOVE the images we got from it. This lady is another local Vegas photographer. We had tried to connect for a session a few times in the past, but it fell through both times. This time, we were finally able to make it happen. Despite the crazy desert wind gusting to 50mph the day of the shoot and a near reschedule, everything just fell into place. She wanted an outdoorsy, green/fields country vibe for her shoot - which is also somewhat difficult in the brown desert. I got permission to shoot on a local historic ranch with just the right look, and as luck would have it, my husband found a field of fiery orange flowers not too far away that we hit right at sunset. I\'m warning you now, this will be a big share. I normally only give a 20 image gallery, and ended up with 45 on this shoot - more than twice what I normally give a client in their gallery. These images were all shot using natural light only (no strobes, no reflectors) and the 200mm 2.0L lens and 70-200mm 2.8L II lens.

33 This little guy held his own with a 6 hour round trip car ride and a 3 hour shoot. It was time for a nursing break! I asked mom if she would like a few breastfeeding photos and I am SO happy that she said yes.
