A self-portrait of me -- recolored to look more organic.
I\'ve always been enamored by the look of LF Kodachrome. The skin tones always look so organic. I love the cyan and orange tones produced by it and just the overall near nostalgic vibe it gives off.
I took this using the Brenizer method. I hated the colors of the original (taken just after sunset), so I converted to black and white. I sampled skin tone colors that I liked, recolored. I did this for everything including the sky (taken from a Wisconsin photo of mine), the ground, and others. I used color select to give the field two distinctive colors, which amazingly turned out very similar to the original but of course with less undesirable colors.
