His f/6.3 results are pretty poor and his copy needs to be stopped down. If it\'s not sharp at f/6.3 and needs f/8 or f/9, that\'s almost deal breaker.
I donīt think so. Most of the lenses are getting better when stopped a bit down. So no surprice with this zoom lens. After another week of playing with this Tamron I got some nice shots at 600mm. I added some birding photos to my flicker (link is above)
