The first snow of the season came to the Chinook Pass area in mid-October. I went there shortly after the storm but found that snowshoes were needed and my pair was at home. The following week, however, brought sun so on the 23rd I tried it again. This time most of the snow had melted and I was able to get to my desired POV with no problem. I hope that you enjoy.
