Marc\'s solution is really effective for flare, not only with TS-E lenses but also with the widest side of 16-35LII, which otherwise flares easily with the Metabone\'s.
Some shots from our New Year\'s holiday in the south of Japan, taken with A7r + 16-35LII.
I am very happy to find out that the flare issue was not caused by the A7r\'s sensor but it was from the adapter, and it is easy to fix!
