My original NEX-5 came with a charger. I was pretty surprised when the NEX-6 I recently purchased for my girlfriend didn\'t. But I\'m astonished they did this even with the three-times-as-expensive A7/r.
It\'s always been my theory that the customer loyalty you lose by \"nickle-and-dime\"-ing outweighs the few pennies saved on supply costs. Shame to see Sony disagree.
On the other hand the NEX-6 is built drastically better than the original NEX-5 and I consider it an immensely superior value so I guess I can\'t complain too much about having to buy a charger.
