Hi all,
This morning I took some test shots with the A7r and various M lenses, and took the same shots again with a NEX-VG900.
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/em84bs86uh5rgd4/j8zJ7BdQxm

Key:
CV15: Voigtlander 15mm Heliar
SEM21: LEICA 21mm SUPER-ELMAR ASPH
ELT28: LEICA 28mm ELMARIT ASPH
SX35: LEICA 35mm SUMMILUX ASPH (non-FLE)
SC75: LEICA 75mm APO-SUMMICRON ASPH

For comparison I also included the Zeiss Alpha Vario-Sonnar 24-70/2.8 (VS* images).

So, amazing central detail (even with the wide angle lenses you can see the top of Wembley Stadium, 13 miles away) but also further confirmation of the problems with ray angles elsewhere in the image.

Later in the day I was about to borrow a 16-18-21mm TRI_ELMAR from Red Dot Cameras (http://www.reddotcameras.co.uk/, images labelled TRI*) which fared better.

I\'ve also added some other images from walking around London in my photostream http://www.flickr.com/photos/dakw23/.

Enjoy, David

So VG900 did better? That\'s not a good sign... Seems like my 21SEM and 28Cron are out
I guess we have to wait for the native Zeiss manual wide prime...
