The various Novoflex adapters are precisely made.
I have way too many adapters of various origin.
The Novoflex adapters are the only ones good enough to pull this off.
Mount Leica APO-R 280/4 on tripod, attach NEX-5N or NEX-7 with Novoflex adapter, focus wide open.
Replace camera and adapter with Leica M9 and another Novoflex adapter.
I find the lens is still in focus. None of my other purely mechanical adapters come close.
Not bad, not bad at all.
For handheld photography I prefer the Phigment adapter as it switches on magnification when it senses the lens is being focused.
