I had looked on FM earlier today on my phone and saw a note on 1DX refurbs in stock. Looked on the link at the prices of the 1DX, 5DMKIII and 7D for the fun of it. Figured I would wait till I got home to look at it more closely.
The post was gone but I was able to get to the Canon site with the refurbished cameras.
From what I remember, the prices seemed really good on the previous link but when I opened the site at home I WAS SHOCKED.
The DX went up by about $1000, the 5DMKII went up by $700 and the 7D went up by $400.
for those of you who visit that site often, is this a normal occurrence for prices to change that drastically? Did I miss something? Or is this more of a timing thing and that when you catch the prices low, snatch the body I want.
I figured that when I get around to buying a new camera body, I will check the refurbished bodies first but if these are the normal prices of refurbs, forget that, I will just buy new.
I would love some insight from those who do this more often than I do.
