I don\'t think there are a lot of fans of it here, but I know some people like the photos with B&W and one color for pop. Maybe it was over done in the past, and I just missed that phase. I know my wife loves those type of pictures.
Hello jspyteck, i know exactly what you mean it was probably over utilized at one point. But whan you start digital you just got to try it, but i was sort of shy to show them at anyone in the forums i attend feeling a lot of folks founf that tacky. But after 2 1/2 years experimenting with digital now (not a lot i know but you have to start someday right) i have come to a point where i trust my own judgment. If i feel like the shot gains something with the technique i simply do it and tell myself those who don\'t like it just don\'t have to look at them, nobody is forcing them. I also believe if it is well done, with taste it remains in many case something worth doing. besides i have folks asking for this end result among my customer. Once it was for a wedding shot i had first processed in plain back n white and more recently the 2nd time for an action football shot, actualy for the mother of the female football player on picture # 7 on my post. She wanted to see only the orange shoe laces in color in the shot. Like they say: \" The customer is always right\" :-)
