Medium format lenses converted on 35mm digitals.

We do know EF/-s protocols is the same from SA , so I use the AF confirm chip for Canon on my SA mount. Before doing it, I did a large search on internet , but the result is negative, many guys confirmed that can\'t do such a thing, because of different mount throat radiuses between the two.
OK, I did it and get it now.Is that easy?.No, it is a big NO here. Before got the last success, I broke 3 chips, used 2 sets of epoxy glue and fortunately didn\'t get a single electric shortcut, that could kill SD1 Merrill in a fraction of a second.
How do I do it for my Leica Elmarit 135mm , a real solid lens, no room to hide a PCB.
Materials :
1- M42 to SA adaptor, get it on Ebay rather cheap.
2- AF confirm chip for Canon EOS , from Ebay also.
The Leica lens need to remove all fins.
A small cog is created at 4 h, immitated the rear of the SA mount to switch AF.
Measure carefully each camera\'s pin locations , then mark them on the inner SA mount throat.
Glue the chip accordingly the marks, for stronger, I created the base for the chip.
Next 2 hours, soldering a drop of lead on the 2rd chip pin, a little higher the rest 5 chip pins, then file it down to creat the plane as other 5.
Note: never let the 1st left camera pin touch anything, that\'s is very important like live or die .
All depend on the skills, if I don\'t have that, I make it many times to get it.
