FS: Canon 1D (Mark I, Classic) $219 shipped, battery + universal charger

Item 1: Canon EOS 1D Mark I, the original

I have for sale a decent condition original Canon 1D (Mark I). There are 94k actuations on the shutter and some marks of use on the body but nothing that signifies "abuse". I recently acquired a collection of 1D Mark I and II's and have spent the past several weeks putting this body through its paces to insure it is working as it should. All functions work properly... if not, I will accept a return for full refund.

The 1D body, Canon body cap, used NP-E3 battery (adequate charge but nothing great) and a universal NIMH battery charger I have been successfully using to recharge 1D batteries for over a year now shipped to continental USA for $219. If you are using fee based paypal, please add 3%.

The battery charger does not have the "refresh" option that the original NC-E2 has but it also is not going to set you back over $100 (used... if you can find one). I have found if you drain the battery all the way (turn off "power save" on the camera and leave it on) and then recharge, it does a decent job. I have several friends who are into radio-controlled hobbies and they pointed me to this very economical way to recharge NP-E3 Canon batteries (which are nothing more than 10 AA batteries connected in series... very similar to battery packs utilized in the RC world.)

PM me with any and all questions.

This is an opportunity to get what is still a very good pro camera body (8 frames per second, 1/500 sec flash sync, 1/16,000 sec max shutter speed) for the price of a point-and-shoot

Thanks for checking out my ad!

Price: $219.00

Here's the deal... If you want the 1D body and Canon body cap only, it is $199 shipped (Priority USPS Insured Mail) to continental USA. This is assuming you already have a battery and charger... perhaps from another 1D series body you own.
If you don't... for $239 shipped, I will include an NP-E3 battery (adequate charge but nothing great) and a universal NI-MH battery charger I have been using on 1D batteries for over a year now. It doesn't have the "refresh" option the original NC-E2 has but it also is not going to set you back $100 (used... if you can find one). PM me with any and all questions. I will be putting up several other 1D's and 1D II's after I insure they work properly.
If you are using regular paypal, please add 3%.
