I think all of them do that trick, tho I would probably avoid \"hard\" ones. That white stuff is just dust and oxidized layer of rubber (aged). There is some silicon stuff which can sorta \"conserver\" rubber.

Something like that tho I would be careful and take a good look what exactly is inside that can.

I was trying to find this cause rubber parts on my old Minolta are quite oxidized. Tho interesting is, that I have one older (non-working due failed IS) and that has rubber in perfect shape. Cant figure how its possible, except maybe some rubber has simply much higher quality than other.
