Interesting snapsy! Reminds me of when we had to calibrate voltage sensing relays on a voltage throwover panel. We\'d acquire the average voltage of the 3 phases on the panel and use it as the average point. If it was 133v and a bandwith of 3v, respective pick-up on the high end would be set @ 1.5v and also on the lo-side. Using a variac, we\'d put it on beam @ 133 and initiate pick-up at 134.5v and adjust relay until the hi-side light would just pick up, and do the same with the lo-side light @ 131.5v thus acquiring a 3v band with a 133v beam voltage. This would in effect throw the panel over if the constant voltage drifted outside the band on the preferred side to the emergency side for good stable voltage when it is needed for good control voltages operating equipment.
Dialing the lens AF tune sounds similar here, I\'ll give it a go!
