Booooring! I don\'t like photographing indoors, but I might make an exeption to capture my brand new Gibson Les Paul that I bought yesterday on pure impulse. It was so freaking good that I just couldn\'t go home without it.

Im am serious about getting one of these, but can real owners answer a few of my questions
Is the 35 to restrictive at times, or are you pretty happy with the FL for what you shoot?
Of course it is restrictive, but personally I find it an advantage. I know that I take better pictures when I have to adapt my thinking to not being able to choose.
Is the macro mode pretty good?
I have no idea since I seldom or never do closeups of that sort. Sorry.
Edit: But the fact that the lens is sharp from corner to corner wide open at ~0.7 meters (testing the new copy for decentering) is really outstanding.
Happy with the IQ and iso? I see different images and not really sold on it yet, but I know could be many factors
Thanks! Phil
Yes, despite I barely have even tried to stop the lens down or go below ISO 1600, it looks awesome. I shoot everything wide open since it\'s very dark outside over here at this time of year, and I like what I see. I don\'t think you can get the same nice bokeh from any lens in this focal lenght, no matter how expensive.
But of course, some might say it lacks character, and I can partially agree. However, the smooth rendering makes the Sonnar very versatile. You just don\'t have to worry about busy backgrounds and I think it\'s a very convenient lens for what the camera is.
