Apologies for the IQ but this is a large crop. It is the Hawaiian I\'Iwi and it seems to be mostly at higher elevations. I was almost at the summit of Haleakala on Maui in the National Park. It was in a grove of trees and going off the established trails is prohibited so I was quite focal length limited. The Ranger told me that November was not the best time to see them as the blossoms were not that plentiful. When the O\'hio trees and the blossoms are more in bloom they are easier to get approach. http://Jetset.zenfolio.com/p722552752/e4fcde0b6
