Sounds like a good idea Peter! I write something up and post it.

There are days when I just go out with one lens, the 100mac and 70-200 most often with the 300 f4L on other days. The interesting thing is that in the description for that TT 50 holster they mention both the 70-200/300 with hood on/extended fit without trouble; fully retract or reverse the hoods and a 1.4x T/C could be added...the plot thickens

Many moons back, in my film days pre-wheels, I did one prime lens only shoots all the time, it\'s not as easy now but I should challenge my eye/skills more by doing so. The holster/sling type bag is a great idea, before I jump in a post is in order...any zippers must be easy open types, snaps n velcro are EVIL
