By these standards there has been no invention in digital cameras since the first prototype.

also: on full auto a 5D is also \"point and shoot\" as is nex-7 etc.
Such a term is meaningless except as an excuse to dismiss a camera. My original nex-5 was called a P&S countless times here and elsewhere. It\'s an excuse for an argument--or I should say, the lack of one.
