Re: Alt glass wide/normal/medTele for Canon EOS

One comment about the 58mm f/1.2, is that you can shoot it with infinity focus and on a tripod it isn\'t too bad at all. You might also consider a ZF 25mm f/2.8 as a compromise between the ZE 25 f/2 and the C/Y 28 f/2.8. The ZF 25 f/2.8 was always to me the heir of the C/Y 28 f/2.8 and it has a nice close focussing distance even if it doesn\'t have a floating element. I have seen lots of nice shots with it around here.

One comment about the 58mm f/1.2, is that you can shoot it too infinity if you use live view to lock the mirror up then mount the lens and focus it. This is a bit cumbersome, but for landscapes on a tripod it isn\'t too bad at all. You might also consider a ZF 25mm f/2.8 as a compromise between the ZE 25 f/2 and the C/Y 28 f/2.8. The newer lens was always to me the heir of the C/Y 28 f/2.8 and it has a nice close focussing distance even if it doesn\'t have a floating element. I have seen lots of nice shots with it around here.
