Noise is often most problematic when a scene has a vigh dynamic range, with noise appearing most strongly in the shadows and dark tones.
In your shot, there were mostly shades of light brown, and shooting at a higher ISO setting probably wouldn\'t have resulted in excessive noise, but would have allowed an even faster shutter speed. (You could even have gone a bit faster at this ISO and still have stayed within acceptable exposure limits. As it is, whites are very close to -- if not actually -- clipping.)
