Oh, I hear ya, although, for whatever reason, Fuji has a little more boutique lens cred than Nikon, and the Zeiss is slower at f1.8, so this choice seems a little more difficult, to me. That being said, I guess many of us, including myself, will be interested in consistent looks across their prime range, perhaps.
I can see the case for consistency and I agree with you about boutique thread.
Maybe I\'m alone here but I actually like a variety of looks in my lenses. It\'s the primary reason I\'ve been exploring other brands instead of just running through the Zeiss line up new and legacy.
