The 6D is an alternative to the 5D3 for me, I shoot mostly static subjects, maybe 5% action and my crop bodies handle non-static quite well. Much of what Gunzorro and Ralph have stated are right on point for my type of shooting.
My speshul physical issues, paralyzed fingers, preclude my use of most buttons, now I doubt Canon is targeting this cripple in particular, but at this price point it is very attractive budget wise for me to move into FF. I recently picked up DSLR Controller for my 40/50D and with my galaxy nexus attached the combo makes it easier for me to shoot in some situations; the 6D has this built in...lighter body, killer LCD with touch, GPS n WiFi...the only suspects are AF (i shoot center point mostly anyway) and IQ.
If the IQ is up to any 5D standards it\'s my way into FF and a bit more L glass, like a 100L macro, 17-40, 24-105 or 400L...
There are some folk who don\'t require top-of-the-line (except glass) to be happy, I\'m in that category, I shoot my lady\'s creations (clothes, quilts, bags and jewelry, etc.) for her business in addition to my just-for-pleasure/fun images.
This 6D\'s reviews and posting here on FM will be watched closely before my wallet gets lighter!
